Toastmasters started with a vision from a man named Ralph Smedley, who wanted to start a training program focusing on speaking and leadership … after a few attempts, the first chartered club was started in 1924 in Santa Ana California…

The organization's membership exceeds 300,000 in almost 16,000 clubs in 149 countries.

Toastmasters runs the World Championship of Public Speaking.  This competition is held annually at its International Convention in August.  It started in 1938 and involves over 33,000 participants in 141 countries, making it the world's largest oratory contest.  There is a six-month process of elimination to reach the semi-finals.

On today's show, I am very honored to have the 2021, 2nd place winner of the World Championship of Public Speaking, Nitay-Yair Levi .

Welcome to the show Nitay ….
